Full course description
This course was designed to help producers and mentors learn and review the concepts of advanced grazing and improve their grazing systems. This course helps familiarize mentors with CFGA’s approach to advanced grazing, including funding guidelines and specific tools to help them best support producers.
An advanced grazing system (AGS) uses rotational grazing practices adapted to the landscape, and considers important factors such as rest period, graze time, animal impact, stock density, soil health and biodiversity.
